Getting Started

Velocity Pulse recovers revenue from products whose demand is fading — before they become dead stock. It watches your sales, detects when a product's demand is genuinely declining, and recommends (or runs) a recovery action: a markdown, a flash sale or a clearance launch.

Step 1: Connect your data sources

Velocity Pulse imports your Shopify order history automatically. Optionally connect Amazon and eBay under Settings → Channels for extra demand signals. Marketplace data is used for demand intelligence only — Velocity Pulse never lists, prices or fulfils on a marketplace.

Step 2: Set your Recovery Rules and automation mode

Under Settings → Recovery Rules, tune the health thresholds and baseline window (30 / 60 / 90 days), then choose how much Velocity Pulse does on its own — Assisted or Autonomous.

Defaults are sensible — Healthy 80+, Watch 60+, At risk 40+, and Assisted mode (you approve every launch). You can start without changing anything.
Step 3: Refresh Pulse Scores and review opportunities

Open Recovery Opportunities and click Refresh Pulse Scores to score your catalog. Declining products appear worst-risk-first, each with a recommended recovery action.

Step 4: Launch recovery

Pick a recovery action on any product to prepare it, then approve it on the Launch page. Approving executes it — for example creating a markdown discount in Shopify.

Step 5: Track recovered revenue

The Dashboard shows the value Velocity Pulse is protecting and the revenue already recovered from completed actions.

Glossary
  • Pulse Score — a 0–100 demand-health score; higher is healthier.
  • Risk band — Healthy, Watch, At risk or Critical, derived from the Pulse Score.
  • Baseline window — a product's first 30/60/90 days of selling, used as the reference for "normal" demand.
  • Change confidence — how statistically sure we are that demand has genuinely changed (not just noise).
  • Recovery action — a markdown, flash sale or clearance launch that recovers revenue from a declining product.
